Pet bought but not showing up at Property

I know I've read about this issue but the answer didn't sink in and I'm not seeing a solution at the GetSatisfaction Board. The pet shop shows I just purchased a kitty, but she didn't come to her new home and I can't purchase another. Is there a fix or do I need to reset my game?

I loved this too! Reminded me of when my cat started using the teleporter -- all the time. I had to remove it (the teleporter, not the cat). I wouldn't have been surprised to hear that cats use the fire poles! I think they still go to second floors and reappear on first floors. Maybe they have invisible fire poles?

cats do use escavators. its neat to to see them just ride and not walk like on stairs. and they also can get on elevators. i think I saw one hopping to hit button but im not sure.

Because I don't like searching for cats ^^, I have my pets at single-story houses. Except my visitor house. There is only a firepole, and I didn't see the cat at the second floor, yet. I really hope she won't teleport with any invisible item

You're right, they are hopping to hit the button. I saw this, when I tried to have pets at a 2-story house. Also dogs use it.

I was redoing a two story house in prep for participation in Perturbee's Challenge. It's the first time I've tried to resize rooms. I was concerned about removing all the 2nd story cuz I sure don't want to have to pay for it again, so only 3 small rooms were on the 2nd floor. In one tiny room was my new kitty, no room for an escalator to bring her down.

Why she arrived up there with no doors is something only the FireMonkeys can explain.

I love the actions of the pets. Especially how the dogs turn around and grin at you when they dig up treasure.
