Neighbor blocked me inside their home, cant leave! Help!!!

I didn't know sims can refuse the whistle. Whistling them to a different house should work. I tried blocking a sim in my town and whistling them to a different house and poof! He appears. Don't know why yours didn't.

They don't refuse the whistle. When you have 1 adult sim with your toddlers, or you're waiting for a baby in a crib, you can't whistle him, because he has to stay with the toddlers/crib. The game won't let him go.

When your sim is visiting a neighbours house that has a crib with an unborn baby in it, the game won't let your sim go with using the whistle or the go home button. Although if there are adult sims in that house. The sim will follow you, when you use the globe button.
First time I had this glitch with the Mystery Island update.

Correct. Sim cannot leave the toddler by him/herself at home. But in hipmomx case, she (I'm assuming hipmomx is a she here) was visiting a neighbor and can't leave. Perhaps the house has a baby/toddler that she didn't notice? That seems unlikely because if there is, there should be an adult sim in the house too. A weird glitch perhaps?

There have been 4 or 5 adults at that neighbours house, when my sim couldn't leave. Yes, it's a weird glitch.

Have you tried going to the neighbor's park or other community lot and whistling for him? Maybe you can get around it that way - if he pops in to the public space, you can send him home from there. Will keep fingers crossed.

No, I actually hadnt thought of that..as obvious as it seems..lol,. So I read your response and then tried it..no luck..
Can you actually see when people are visiting your neighborhood? I guess Im hoping it wasnt done on purpose.

Do you have your sim back? In case not, I think you'll have to reset your game and download your saved data.

Hipmomx, maybe you can try contacting the neighbor and have her move her furniture a bit. Maybe that will release your sim.

The neighbor cannot change the copy of a cloud save.

S/he only can move furniture for future uploads, to avoid trapped sims in that corner.

I have actually had a sim in a town long enough (like long gardening tasks and overnight adventures), that the save data changed before my return (sims on new tasks, furniture changed, etc.). That sounds like what happened here. And being that the host can not see hipmomx2, they had no idea they were trapping her sim.

Hipmomx2, maybe you can give us a sentence or two of the language from their Facebook page and we can help you figure out what it is.

OMG. I tuned back in expecting a happy ending and no one has heard from Hipmomx2 since!!! The horror, the horror... Trapped in a Twilight Zone time warp... All kidding aside this is NOT funny. Neighbor visits are tricky...hope it works out.

When you want your sim to go home you can make sure they are not doing any activity then click on the globe icon to return to your own town and your sim will automatically show up at their own house.
