No. At least, not yet.HordePrime wrote:Can I ask a related question?
Can houses have more than 3 floors? I've never seen a fourth floor, and I don't have the money for one, but is it possible??

I'm pretty sure three floors is the limit.

Yes, it was quite a shock to find that building the second floor cost 1 mil simoleons, then when I went to build the third floor, it cost 2 mil!!!

Re: Upper floor
Wow! 2mil... I did not know that! Well, my little town is going to pass a law that no buildings can be more than two floors high because costs are too astronomical. I'll have Miriam take it to the town council first thing Monday morning!

Re: Upper floor
Ah yes, but now that I've seen how cost-effective the new Teen Idol 3-story mansion is, I think I will be using that as the basis for any future 3-story homes... Even if you remove all the rooms and rebuild the house from the ground up, the second and third floors come back, awaiting the creation of new rooms and the placing of new staircases! Just don't use that demolish button!katgames wrote:Wow! 2mil... I did not know that! Re: Upper floor
You're totally right about this being a great base option. And yeah, no demolish button on this one! *laffin'*

Re: Upper floor
I'm also trying to save for a second floor for my haunted house, the cost is ridiculous. I was lucky to get extra floors as part of the construct coin quest a few months ago. That was a generous quest, just wish I had the knowledge then as I do now, there is so much I would do differentlyaylilth wrote:This is my next goal saving up to get a 2nd floor. Re: Upper floor
I have 2 houses with 3 floors and that is the most levels we can have. All my houses have at least 2 levels. (Not the Mystery Island homes though. They are still one level.) I built them all up before the construct-o coins went away. The good thing is all my homes have multiple levels and I don't have to spend all the Simoleans to build the levels. The bad thing is that now even my workshops that are detached from the houses have multiple layers too. If I sell the rooms and take the house down to the grass, when I build it back up all the floors are still there. I havn't demolished any homes but I guess that would be the only way to get rid of the extra floors.Lishws720 wrote:I'm pretty sure three floors is the limit.
Re: Upper floor
To get rid of the extra floors, just go to the house store and click on the floors tab. You either get a blue outline to build an extra floor, or a red outline to demolish the already built floor. It does not cost anything to demolish a floor and you do not lose town value either.PaQuilter wrote:If I sell the rooms and take the house down to the grass, when I build it back up all the floors are still there.
