Cloud question

I'm finally going to upgrade to iOS 7 and I want to save before I do but what's the round 'button' with the two arrows on the bottom right corner of the cloud screen? I read the post about saving but it doesn't say and I mashed it and it went to a loading screen then went back to the upload screen but didn't seem to do anything that I saw, so just wondering what it's for.

The circle in the bottom right corner is a refresh button. Is this the one you're talking about?

Yeah that's it. I've never used the cloud other than mashing that once and the upload save data once so I don't know much about it. The page on using it with both GC and FB was confusing and since I have neighbors from both, for all I know they might not even be able to visit. So yeah, I just don't fool with it.

It's a pretty safe button, so long as you are not getting the perpetual connecting to server issue. This button is a refresh button, which is supposed to check for the latest save data version. It doesn't save or change your game at all. And it doesn't always bring up the latest version, it just checks for it.
