Hi Desiree! I haven't played for that much longer than you but I have TV worth 19.9 mil and I receive $7323 a day. What kind of voodoo math is this game pulling on me?

Regardless, welcome to the wonderful world of sims freeplay. I, too, wish that I had started earlier because that haunted mansion from last halloween looks so good and I'm sad I missed out. Oh, and the construction coin thingy. *sigh* Best not to dwell on it, I guess.[/quote]

Read the entire thread here on TV. Salaries are capped now and TV is figured differently. There was a time they collected coins to build two and three story houses and finding all the ghosts gave you §1 million each time. So we really can't compare to that. They have totally changed the game. It is, what it is.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean.
But my policy is never to use real money, so they seem forever out of my reach.
I just checked. It's actually not there right now but it's usually under specials in the real store for 2.99 or 1.99 and once they did it for 99 cents. I figured for that--sure. I now have two different big tanks and one small one and they are limitless free. It was totally worth 99 cents. Keep your eye on that. Unless it's just the principle and well... Wish I could give you some I totally would.

No, my main puzzlement was from why 17.7mil TV nets $7900 for some and $19.9mil TV gives $7300 for others (me, mostly).
I know about the changes to the TV formula but I'm guessing that Desiree started her town post-changes like I have.

I haven't been playing long enough to know what rare items exist  But I would love a pool cleaner, that would be so nice! I see them in many of my neighboring towns, but I don't have any. If the Haunted House would be attainable, that would be my first wish though. I would be happy with any unique items that I cannot access through my normal gameplay. Actually... free stuff is cool! I'll be happy with what I get, but I hope it'll be awesome ;)

I fear people may be getting their hopes far too high for this mystery box stuff; from what people have said, the "rare items" are just loads of LP. I don't think it will be possible to get things that you can't normally get, like teleporters or pool cleaners. - At best you might get a 3-star fridge or something, but I worry it may all be an anti-climax.

Since getting 10 keys mean 10 weeks= 2.5 months, I wish it could be something that costs real money.

I, too, am a player who wont use real money for pixels anymore (due to the mishap with the TinierMe game of GCrest) that would be much appreciated.

But if its too anti-climactic, I'll definitely have second thoughts and bad ones (e.g. "You made us collect for 10 weeks?? Its like a scam just to keep players hooked! :( )
