What "rare items" do you hope to get in the mystery boxes?

I fear people may be getting their hopes far too high for this mystery box stuff; from what people have said, the "rare items" are just loads of LP.

No on has gotten a rare item yet. This week will be five weeks so I'm sure Perturbee will be posting Wednesday examples of what a rare item is!

Here you go, three examples of the "Bounty Box" (costs 5 keys).
Contents are: 6 standard prizes, 4 premium prizes and 1 rare item.
Box 1:

Premium: 6 LP; 3 Limestone; 3 Igneous stone; 6 LP
Rare: Anti Gravity Chair (value 3 LPs)

Premium: 9 LP; 5 LP; 3 Granite; 8SP
Rare: Dragon Statue (value 75 LP)

Box 3:
Standard: § 3,000; XP 2,000; § 1,500; § 1,500; § 2,500; § 1,500
Premium: 3 Pickaxes; 5 LP; 8 LP, 3 Igneous Rock
Rare: Pee Cleaner (value § 777,777)

Somewhat disappointing though. I plan on waiting for Box 10, but if all I get are a few chairs and stuff then it really isn't worth waiting for. What's "rare" about those items exactly? - I could buy as many as I want, whenever I want (and I don't particularly want any of them).

And the "premium" items seem to be either LP or resources - and only the common resources at that. I've got Pickaxes coming out of my ears but I haven't had a Magma Embers for days now.

Oh well. Maybe it's possible to get better things too...

They consider essence of wind and pearls standard items?? They have got to be kidding! I have a 100 pick axes, igneous rocks up the wazoo, granite enough to rebuild the Great Wall of China, but I have only gotten 1 EofW this week and I was extremely surprised that my homeless Sim actually got a magma ember when she started woodworking this morning at the CC. I hadn't gotten a magma ember in almost 2 weeks! I think they have it backwards, those pick axes should have been pearls or embers! Thank you for doing this of for us! I am hanging on to my keys until I have 10. The XP is nice, but I have everybody over at the snow park doing the hour long thing to get 540 XP when they all get home from work every day.

I have a suggestion to all who are curious as to what the mystery box contains but doesn't want it later on.


Recently, I have been saving my game in the cloud everytime I want to know the following (considering you have enough LP, and §):
1. what would the pre-built houses would look in a premium lot
2. what would be the next goal for the weekly challenge (I found out that the 20 goals it takes to finish this is fixed)
3. what the mystery box contains that can be bought by the number of keys I have.

The last one was the most useful of all. SInce I can choose the contents of the mystery box. When I dont like it, I reset my game. If I like it then I save the game again.

I am currently saving up more keys until I have enough for the Bounty Box. In the meantime, I just take a peek inside the mystery boxes which are cheaper

(Last night I opened up the 3key mystery box and it just gave me 10,000TV, 2LP, 4SP and 5,000§)
