Ski Lift Access

It has been mentioned that unless you unlock the ski lift in your town, you are unable to use the ski lift in any neighbour's town. Today I learnt that the reverse is true as well ie. as long as your own ski lift is unlocked, it is unlocked in your neighbour's town even if they have not unlocked it yet.

I confirmed this in my niece's town as she was just asking me yesterday about ski lift access. I was puzzled for months as to why her town does not show up on my party boat. I finally figured out that although she was logged on to FB, she had never actually cloud saved her town before, nor actually visited my town although she could see it in her party boat - until yesterday

Funnily enough she was the one who introduced me to SFP a year ago. She has been busy with work so I'm way ahead of her!

Yeah. To all intents and purposes, there is only one Ski Lift. Whether you unlock it at home or in a neighbour's town makes no difference. Once you've unlocked one, you've unlocked them all.

Also, it doesn't matter whether or not your neighbour has unlocked their lift. If you want to use it, you have to unlock it yourself (in any town).
