EDIT: Okay, well I got started on the 2 Storey Mansion anyhow, but I made a cloud save right beforehand, just in case. It'll finish up tomorrow before noon, so I wont lose much if I have a problem. Hopefully it works out just fine!!
I forgot to start mine but I am planning to buy it today. I am hesitating because I'll miss my 6,000,000 dollars lolenkeli63 wrote:I was just wondering if building the 2 Storey Mansion worked out all right. I'm going to start building this one soon, so I'd like to know if it turned out fine. I can save before building it, but I also intend to get started on my snow park, and I really wouldn't want to lose a whole day of work if it doesn't work out. So if you could update and let me know how your 2 Storey Mansion worked out for you, I'd really appreciate that!! Thanks

That's a lot of money. It's probably more cost effective to buy a Teen Idol Mansion (which has 3 floors) and then remodel it how you want.ILoveSpf wrote:I am hesitating because I'll miss my 6,000,000 dollars lol
If you like a close up view of the Neo Tokyo lot, check out #10 Westside. I did not like the original house so totally rebuilt it (partly based on Kyle Baker's house in another Simtown). My social sim, Sakura lives there but she is hardly at home so neighbours drop by now and then to bake some goodies for her (hence the many stoves there). Sadly you won't be able to use the baked goods for goals nor see them.enkeli63 wrote:I'm really on the fence about Neo Tokyo though--I like the fence but the sidewalk around the house is a bit too bright for my eyes. I am not sure if I'll get it...
I agree about the furniture! I was actually in your Neo Tokyo house this morningPalmjill wrote:If you like a close up view of the Neo Tokyo lot, check out #10 Westside. The Neo Tokyo furniture is pretty unique and only available at the higher levels so you might like to get the house if you like them. I built 3 altogether (demolished 2) just to get the furniture!
That's why I love this forum! It really helps you make decisions based on others' past experiences! I hope to eventually build at least one of every house, although the Simoleon houses are getting really expensive. I'm building the space shuttle house now, and then I'm going to save up for the two story mansion and a couple of the others. I'm lucky my DR is the old calculation, because I started on launch day, even though I left for nearly a year and didn't play very often before that. It was really slow going and nobody to talk to, so I went back to Sims2 and Sims3.HordePrime wrote:For those interested in the Neo Tokyo house, this is a comprehensive list of what it comes with (on a standard lot), with the price it would cost you to Buy that item yourself, and the price you can Sell it for if you choose to do so.
