Hello. I remember there was a glitch and someone had already started the road to fame quests. Was just wondering how much the teen idol mansion is. And if it's priced in LPs.

Yes, you do need Sim Town sign at level 3 to unlock it! The first one you build is FREE.

It's 80 LPs.

Don't stress for getting any resources, building monuments and the town sign is a long-term affair. Luckily the Sim Town sign has only 3 levels.

Level 0 to 1: 5 of each resource -> § 200 random bonuses from the town map revenues
Level 1 to 2: 10 of each resource -> § 400 bonuses
Level 2 to 3: 15 of each resource -> § 600 bonuses
Skipping costs 3 LPs for each resource (like with the monuments)

These bonuses show like the monument bonuses but the icon has an H.

No, it's 3 for each 1 you need to collect. For example to move up to level two I currently need to collect 9 of the movie resources, and I can bypass it for 27 LP. I have 4 of the 10 microphones, and can bypass the other 6 for 18 LP.

I've been trying to see if any activities collect more of the teen idol resources than others, and I think I've collected a couple from non music activities. Of all the Hobbies to limit to one Sim, this makes the least sense! All those instruments, and every activity takes an hour or more.
