Update: I finished building the house and the fireplace is visible in the inventory. Yay.

The Simtown Health Spa House
On a Standard lot On a Premium lot (built on the island)
Edit July'16 while Police update:
If you build the Spa on the island, you won't get the waterfall outside
The Spa that I have built while the Spa update is not effected by this change, the waterfall is still there.
Edit October '16
Fix while Doctor Doctor update:
You'll get the waterfall again on the island. Original info posted by mockingbird here.

Re: [Pics] Pre-made House
So glad the standard lot has the wonderful waterfall/deck area. I know cost may vary according to houses already built, but can you give some idea? Simoleans, LP, or SP?

I love that waterfall feature at the back. I'm not going to dwell on it too much as I know I'm not going to finish the event on time to get the template for it

Re: [Pics] Pre-made House
Not sure if this is the right place or not...but can someone tell me which bits of the spa template are non-moveable. I've heard some benches/statues aren't but does that mean the ones by the waterfall or ones in the center? And are the patios changeable? On both premium and standard lots.
Thanks .
Thanks .
Re: [Pics] Pre-made House
Both are not removable. The ones in the waterfall are out of the grid as well. The benches in the center of the house are part of the patio. Although I have reduced it to the smallest size, they can not be removed or sold.

Re: [Pics] Pre-made House
So which patio is fixed? There's the dark grey one, the wooden one, then the light grey tile-like ones. Which are fixed/which can be removed? And even if they can't be moved can the style be changed/can they be expanded?
Re: [Pics] Pre-made House
This is basing on the Standard Lot.
After deleting the surrounding patios, what's left are 3 patio areas.
1) the 2 benches facing each other in a approximately square area ( which originally has the Falling Water Decor feature in between),
2) 2 separate or individual benches covering 2 tiles ( i forget 2 or 3 tiles).
I think we could change the patio design as I remembered using the Free Spa Patio design on where the individual benches were standing on. Yes they can be expanded.
Since I have already reverted back to the original design, I am not so sure about the bigger unremovable Patio. But it's expandable.
I suggest a cloud save before making changes. That way you can revert back to the original design if you dont like the changes.
