I just realised that with the advent of the new ghosts there are now 18 different ghosts instead of 12. Hence your chances of catching the elusive Cousin Flapsworth in a neighbour's town just got much harder than usual - 1/18 rather than 1/12!
I just spent 2-3 hours in telemwill's haunted house (with the great shark moat) but failed to find him. Ironically my hunters at home caught him 5 times!!! Now giving it a go in Erin's town. At least I'm hunting in awesome surroundings
Edited: Number of ghosts corrected. I can't seem to be able to count!

Anyway glad to say I finally got cousin flapsworth after getting promoted to level 4 from a novice hunter. The weird ornament wasn't so bad, so am now attempting the dreaded triple pickle flip!

ah no worries, I realised I counted wrong as well! Maths was never my strength glad you got the elusive ghost!
and yea! it took me 2 days to get the flip, I'd rather be hibernating or planting pumpkins

It can take longer to finish your sets too, if you have a stubborn non-appearing ghost. Gruesome Gretchen was not going to be caught last night. It took nearly two hours just to catch this one ghost.

Yeah, I thought they would go back to 12 ghosts after Halloween finished, but I also notice that the new spooky furniture is still available to purchase which is weird. Maybe things will go back to normal after the next update??

It was a good thing that they didn't pull out the halloween themed furniture! I managed to make my little haunted house. I just need 1M simoleons for a two storey HH so that I can now have an excuse to buy the elevator and stairs! <3
