teen idol goals please respond!!!

I went over to someone's town and I got the last bass guitar note but when I went home the goal wasn't finished (goal was to write 6 notes) I completed it fair and square I want to progress in the goals to get the teen mansion! Does this mean I can't finish the goals in time?

Never mind to anyone who was about to reply because I have devised a genius plan to progress in the goals still which I do NOT feel like explaining.
