Teen idol resources and mansion question

I finished the road to fame quest last night and have now to level up the Sim Town sign

- has anyone gotten these resources from a sim apart from the actual teen idol? I experimented and did get two resources from my teen idol changing in and out of his swimsuit, I tried this with another teen and another adult Sim with zero drops. I do understand they are very rare but has anyone gotten a drop from a random non idol Sim?

- the wording on the Teen Mansion house is a little strange, does it mean that only the teen idol (and the family) can be moved into the mansion? If I build two would that mean that I can't create a sim/move another family into the second one?

Anyone can get the teen idol resource just like the mystery island resource...

Anyone can get the resources. They're just so rare. You probably lucked into getting them with the teen and then just didn't get them with the adult by chance. I've been getting them once in a blue moon when my adults are doing hobbies. But I've yet to see the last resource. Mainly magazine photoshoots and one microphone.

For the mansion, i think they just worded it weirdly. Since we know you can purchase a second one and only have one teen idol, I don't see how it's not possible for another family to move in.

Even the first teen idol house can be inhabited by anyone, even a brand new sim. I however moved the family with the teen idol (my only teen) into the mansion and building another which will be picked clean and redecorated

so I am a little unclear on the teen mansion.....looking at the pictures it seems to have two music rooms which have all of the instruments....can several teens play the instruments at once or can only one teen (teen idol) play the instruments one at a time?

I don't think so. The time limit is for completing the quest if I'm not mistaken. Once you're done and the mansion is unlocked, you're set. Once the mansion starts building, it's yours.

I've read somewhere that the first teen idol mansion was for free. Is it true or just a hoax? Because I have just read a reply from perturbee that the teen idol mansion costs 80SP and I'm currently on a rush to save up SP! (*cries hysterically)
