For me, it started as soon as I got the approval to build the high school--and I was still baking my birthday cake for the teen.

I think you got lucky. I mostly used the 3 star instruments and got tons of repeats.

I did in about four hours (not all at once). I did use three star instruments, and I used LPs to speed up the time on the longer instruments. It only took one LP to skip, except for the last instrument which took two. I had my whole town hobbying to earn LPs.

same here... i started by completing the keyboard notes set without speeding (around 2hr+), after realizing that subsequent instruments require more time and considering that I only have like around 1-2 hours of game play per day, i started using my hoarded LPs to speed up the time...

I completed the road to fame event within 1 hr after doing the speed up... but in the process, i spent around 20+ LP for speeding and 50 LP to get the 3 star instruments

unlucky spin does work randomly in teen idol music for all places but you still may get repeats. with 7 spins i got 4 new musics and 3 repeats for total of 21 LPs.

the one in upper left and the 3 below. i basically got my drums by doing it. plus each spin counted as a writing of the music. so my 7 spins also wrote 7 musics . now i having to do the write 12 musics group.
