I got all of my sims (with the exception of the starter couple since that expensive ring was free) married with the Dino ring and the mood ring. It took a few tries, but I wasn't hip to the hobbying for LP and I was a newer player. I either proposed at the club after a few dances or an empty lot that had a few items. All were married. A couple of them said yes the first try. A couple of them took a few tries.

That LP (2nd to the most expensive) one hurt when she rejected the proposal and left me LP-less. I made her do stupid chores for the rest of the day out of spite. Lol

Hahaha, that's what she gets for being so picky. I have found if you woohoo them a few times pre proposal, they're more likely to say yes to the cheapo rings
