Oh, we missed all the good stuff :P six-digit daily rewards, Christmas glitch, construct-o-coins (still not sure exactly what that one was but I know it was good haha) ...

When I started playing the Dove promo was going on, so all my bathrooms were outfitted with Dove :) unfortunately I didn't think to stock up before updating. They aren't worth a ton, but at this stage EVERYTHING HELPS! Lesson learned.

Thanks very much for the info!
I don't have a teddy bear. I think I missed that too huh? ;)
Aww I guess :( Yeah, I didn't mean to gloat or anything. I wanted to encourage folks to take full advantage of this if they can.

Back when they made the teddy bears free for a few days, I helped myself to a lot. Then, when I read this forum, I got the impression that people were taking ... um... significantly less -- which is more than cool and maybe I lack a decent amount of propriety. :D I'm just trying to get others to stoop to my level, because those little freebies can deliver a huge impact later on. And freebies you can buy from a store while in town view are really easy to buy in bulk. Tap the item for as long as you want, then approve the "purchase."

If only I got the large daily reward, I wouldn't be reduced to the indignity of hording virtual teddy bears and teen instruments :wails!:

I hoarded a couple grand Teddy bears, hehe. Maybe it was more.

Wish I'd known to do this much earlier in the game.
I have noooo problem hoarding. In the game either. *grin*

My conundrum is that if I sell those 'dorable lil teddies my TV goes down along with my daily mailbox reward (which is now tied into some sort of mandatory advertisement in my game btw)

So I'll just keep it all, hoard a few instruments and take up pixelated server space bwahahaaa

The construct o coins gave us mega coins by hobbyng and I was a lil late to the party on that one but I think we could then buy fire escapes and after the next update sell them for mega simoleans.
I didn't cash in on that like I should have. Lesson learned. Cash in on everything. Use every glitch to the max. Fight fire with fire. Their little gifts to us. They program them in after all.

I would take whatever. I didn't think you're. I'll just wait for the next glitch. ;)

I wonder what's free now. :)

The instruments aren't but I'll be watching! I think if you buy something then sell it, it's worth less right?

Indeed they aren't free anymore! The TVs are §1000. Missed stocking up on those too, only have a few. Maybe I should grab a bunch of the Toyota guitars? :P

Wow, that took them several updates to start charging in for those tvs. It's weird that the Toyota tent, weights and guitar have remained free. I wonder if it was in Toyota contract that way. Can't imagine EA not cashing in at every opportunity unless prohibited. So. Maybe when I'm forced to update, I can cash in and build a three story mausoleum for all the dead sims.

Are the toyota guitars still free post-update? See above ^^ Take what's yours! :) There are some things in "Decorations" that have been free for a while: surfboards, suitcases ... might be worth a look. If we sell something we only get 10% of the listed purchase price.
