I've got my eye on that Scandinavian house too. I really like it. Could take forever though.... Oh well. I want a neo Tokyo house too.

i liked the original neo tokyo zen raked yard better. i still dont think that enough thought was put into keeping yard during weather update. plain grass destroys the feeling. i know they reworked it because of the rising sun issue, they still have the yard visible in the build menu choice icon.

And here...
Nina Nikolic,
Hi Everyone,

Due to an oversight in the design of the Neo Tokyo home which has offended a number of our players, we have removed this home until a future update.

We're working on removing this particular design from the home before making it available again in an update. We are very sorry that this home was deemed offensive to some of our players and look forward to including the house again for anyone that was looking forward to using it.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding. We hope that you continue enjoying the game until this home has been reinstated.

Thanks for the information. I had no idea that was an issue for some.

So the rising sun symbol was on the furniture? I can understand why they remove that but why remove the zen raked yard?

Thanks for the photos Nogard and the info that the yard is available in the build menu. I am debating about the house. I have time because I don't yet have the Simoleons. I will redesign it prolly and steal things to decorate other houses. But maybe I would keep it together... Thanks all the same.

The zen yard removal is not due to the rising sun, but its because to cater for the climate control update... specifically, the snow

My new cat apparently can change form at will... Last night they adopted an orange kitty. In the morning when they all woke up he was the British shorthair?!? I rebooted and he turned orange again :)

It's a pity there's no custom yard in the Neo Tokyo house anymore! It would totally add to the atmosphere. However, because I'm a rather new player, I didn't even know the Neo Tokyo used to have a custom yard, so I don't feel like missing out on anything. Neo Tokyo is still my favorite premade house, hands down, and I'm happy the custom fence and pathway are still there. :)

I love the house so much I built two of them: one to keep as it is (only minor changes), the other for the custom fence and cool items, but I deleted it room by room and created a totally different house.

I was not aware there used to be a design that offended some people. It's a pity that political disputes make their way into a game that's supposed to be fun... But I'm SO happy they didn't discontinue the Neo Tokyo house altogether!
