I guess our experience with updates makes us a little leary of any kind of maintenance. Not to mention the forum issues. Feel like we avoided a hurricane or something!

It just ocurred to me that iOS is updating to version 7. Maybe Freeplay isn't fully compatible with that system and they shut down their site in advance of our lamentations.

I'm sure they will rely on Perturbee's unflappable aplomb in calming us down while they continue to deal with the Android issue. Just an errant thought here. . .

I'm think in' they got tired of hearin' everybody gripe (mind you I feel most of the complaints are valid) and they all took off to the beach! Seems like a super long time.

I don't have a crystal ball to see the future in, but things are definitely starting to look that way. I don't feel the need to do anything to calm upset players down, at least not in my view. This forum, my blog and anything else I do is something I enjoy doing for all the players out there. I certainly don't do it for FM!

This morning I received an official request from FM for permission to link (some of) my blog pages into their zendesk support site. I think it's very unusual to have blog pages made by a fan linked into the official site. I'm both honoured and worried about this progress. Does it mean they'll be relying more and more on the help from fans?

By the way, I couldn't get any word from them about the state of the official forum or future plans unfortunately.

It seems like they steering into the direction of community support for in-game questions while they themselves focusing on the technicality and revenue-related problems...

It might also mean, in a negative way, that they are trimming their support headcount...

That isn't a bad thing, if they kept their forum up...

Well, Nina is the one dealing with first line support (at least for SFP, Bryce less, I think), trimming the headcount means zero support.

If they are using your organizational and technical skills then you might want to consider some sort of compensation. Sounds like they are getting you to do their work for free.

Yes! If they wish to link your work, besides giving you public credit, they ought to at least give you a number of SP & LP currency for your work. ;)
