How do you load a game from the cloud? Stupid question I know, sorry. But I've never had to do it before, do I just completely uninstall the game first and then download it again? I've read Perturbee's info, but I'm not seeing the upload data sign, only download? Thank you Simmers

Sometimes when I want to download my saved data, the cloud shows "download not available".
Then I go to game settings, and tap the red button "reset".
I get the question, whether I want to start a new game, or want to download saved data.
When I taped on "download" I get an information about the available data -> simoleon amount, Number of LPs, SPs, sims, and my townvalue.
When these informations match my last screenshot, I confirm and the download starts.

But I don't know what to do, when the game informations are older, than my actually last save

Short time ago one of our friends had a big problem with the cloud. When her game crashed, she wanted to download and the cloud had shown a several weeks old data Fortunately she got her game back. I think, it was via Game Center then. But you don't have GC.

Perturbee recommends to have an own backup. A part of her reply at another topic

The suggested Titanium Backup is one I can recommend highly (I'm using it on several devices), the downside of it is that you need to be rooted (superuser) and can have only 1 backup (so keeping only the last) while using the free version. The paid version allows up to 50 backups!

Not sure, whether this is also possible for your device.

I had a look at the titanium in GooglePlay. It got favorable reviews for apps and such, seems to be worth it.

I hit the reset button and got a warning that I would lose all data and purchases. I'm guessing the download would restore all that, but I'm nervous because I've never reset a game. Could someone reassure me on this? I want to try again for a new 10 key mystery box. Thanks!
