Playing on more than one device

Post by Naven+3 »

Hi I'm new to this forum and I'm not sure how to or where to post my question but here it is: my daughter and I both play sims freeplay on our iPhones, I have iphone 5 and she has a 4. I'm several levels ahead if her and she doesn't have many buildings money or goals. Can I upload my game to her phone and still keep the two separate so that she can play at her rate and how she wants with my uploaded data without it affecting my own game play?

I'm just going to post for all my game center friends, that I am on two devices now. My iphone and ipad. People might want to add me on facebook if they want to access my more developed town.

I have a question. I would like to have two games but I also use the cloud to upload from my iPad to phone (for on the go) and then back to iPad when I get home.

I was wondering if there is a way to avoid overwriting on one device. I logfed out of one gamecenter account and then log in to bring mine in from my phone, and I accidentally overwrote my main account on a higher level.

Was this just me not paying attention or is this not possible?

Thanks,

Christine

Once I accidently saved with hubbies account. He doesn't play SFP, so it doesn't matter :D When I looked into that save, it was still there after I had saved via my account several times.

In order to keep from accidentally overwriting my saved game, I created two separate Game Center accounts, one for each device. My iPhone has my old game, which I try to keep updated on a daily basis, and that account is logged into Game Center only under Lishws720. My newer game on my iPad mini has a new Game Center account and I keep it logged into both GC and Facebook. If you are switching between devices, you have to be very careful not to overwrite the newly played game with an older version (been there, done that).
AliciaWS720 on Game Center: §418 mil town value, VIP 10, level 55. Started as a new game during the DIY update. Special thanks to all of you very creative people on this forum for inspiration in designing houses!

My game is fully updated on iOS.

OK that makes sense. I can't play long on my phone. It hurts my eyes. I still might do it but I'll just have to be super duper careful. At least my old game was only like level 10. It "only" will take me a week to get back where I was. . . and with the restart, I got some extra goodies like a bigger house with a one time $7.99 purchase. I have to promise myself not to spend money regularly like that but it has gone pretty far. I have 3 really pretty houses instead of the basic ones like I had. I also got the advice to open a stadium so the time at work is shorter. :)
