Object in Player Designed House

Post by blackbrit »

Many of you probably know all about this. I however, do not. You know the Player Designed House? I have built a couple, usually to remodel them. There is an item that *looks* like a game controller. It is on the ground floor, in front of the television. It takes up one square and it is white-ish.

I haven't been able to get anyone to interact with it. Is it just a decoration? If it is, it's going in inventory!

It is a supposed to be as video game, but you can't interact with it. I put mine in inventory after I tried an adult and a pre-teen on it - they just ignore it.

It has no symbol for fun or anything when it is in inventory, so I am guessing it is just decoration. I got it out and put it in Cedric's house, because I never tried it with a teen. When he gets home from school, if it doesn't do anything with him either, it's going back into inventory.

Maybe it just adds to TV if it's in a house? I can't even find it in the home store. Sale value is $30. It does not show a star value in inventory.

I put mine in a pre teen bedroom. I think it was meant to be a game console. If anyone has managed to use it, I'd be interested. I haven't tried a teen using it yet...

Thanks! Don't have to wait for my teens to get home to try it - it's going back into inventory! I wonder if it's discontinued? I can't find it anywhere in the home store.

I've never seen it in the home store, either - only in the Player Designed House. But then I didn't start playing until May 2013...

I moved mine from the player designed house to my bachelor pad house. There are 2 guys living there at the moment. The furniture is all mostly 1 star quality, except the TV which is the biggest they could get! It doesn't bother me that it's not interactive, I like the idea of it and think It's a cute and fun addition to their "man" room.

Great way to use it! I love how you thought about their "decor" for their bachelor pad!
