(Game Center) I need a neighbor!

Can you visit me? I've deleted my Facebook app entirely, but all requests after pretty early this morning are not visible on my end at all. I might have to delete the FreePlay app and get a fresh one. Too bad as I was doing great. I sure hope backup works better than connect does!

Just had a successful request test, so not sure why I'm not getting the ones from here. Seems like Game Center might be glitchy.

Deedee, if you're going to uninstall and reinstall, save your game to the cloud so you can restore it once you reinstall.
You can check if your game has saved successfully by attempting to save again. It will tell you when the last successful save was.
I'm not planning on going into my game until Friday. I don't have time at the moment to keep all my sims inspired.
If you're still having issues with Game Center after the reinstall, send me a PM, and I'll check my game.

Before de- and re- installing the game, you should try the force close. If you are on the homescreen of your i-device, doubletap the home button and swipe up/out sfp. On an older iOS look for the sfp app at the bottom and tap the tiny "x"
Usually I do this after closing the game, especially after accepting requests. After that the new neighbor is shown on my party boat.

katgames (skye2blu) added but I had to request. My incoming requests aren't showing. So I will send more out and see if anyone gets them, but so far it's at least working a little. I had no idea Game Center was so touchy, is that like a known issue? I'm new to connecting with friends on it.

Thanks for the wonderful help and patience everyone. I have force closed it many times and power cycled the iPad also many times yesterday. Before I tried to connect on Facebook as well as Game Center (so GC only) it was easy and worked great. Then it just didn't anymore. I think likely my old iPad and it's old version apps are just barely functioning is what it amounts to. I'm lucky it's working at all in that regard. Thanks again all xoxo Great people here!

Yep - all set - seems to be working fine other than the name thing. All of my connection neighbors have their real name on their account instead of their nickname or forum name, so when someone says here where stuff is like where their hobby house is or whatever, I can never figure out who it is... wow if GC just used nick names this would have been so much easier.

Sure you can figure out who is who If you look around in GC, you'll find the nickname and the party boat name. Only trouble is to remember

I'd also like to see the nicknames on my party boat instead of the long names.

Lots of players do have a HFN (House For Neighbors), HFNs use to include everything needed for neighbors tasks. Usually it's mentioned in the member's signature.
The adresses are according to the Map of Town But actually they are easy to find next to land marks like the Ocean at the top of every town.
E.g. In katgame's/Skye Blu's town it is at 1 West Oceanside = top of town, outer left. Her social robot might be at the other side right now = 3 East Oceanside = top of town, outer right.

Thanks for saying what HFN means, I was not sure if there was an abbreviation sticky yet, but I was wondering what that meant. Does anyone have a "pet farm" for those in need of a boost? Don't have any idea what a social robot is, but I will go check that out. Thanks so much
