I call the sims who are living in a HFN and/or who are visiting neighbor's towns to do the social goals "social sims". The sim at katgame's HFN has the last name "Robot", so I imagine she is a robot.

I'm desperado for a globe, anyone have one in their HFN? I really can not afford a §10,000 globe, I'm poor! I hung out on pet farms all morning and only did a couple thousand, so I need to just see this globe at a neighbors I think. I found one in the ski resort but it doesn't have the mission on it to find the mysterious island... maybe because it's not in my town - does this mean I'm forced to spend 10K? Yikes.

My Game Center (GC) name is in my signature below.

Go to the Friends tab in your Game Center and tap the +. A request will appear (like an email). Type my GC address in the address field, and add a comment in the message section to say you are from the Forum. Then send it.

All going well, I should receive your request, and accept it. Eventually, my town will appear in your party boat.

I have a hydrant at my HFN.

Hope this is clear, and please don't take offence if my advice is more novice than your skills

Thanks for saying what HFN means, I was not sure if there was an abbreviation sticky yet, but I was wondering what that meant. Does anyone have a "pet farm" for those in need of a boost? Don't have any idea what a social robot is, but I will go check that out. Thanks so much

If you look at my signature it tells you where there are deer and cats or pet farms as you call them. The haunted house is often needed, although I do have haunted items at the House For Neighbors. I should have everything there you need to do the social tasks. The animals are deer park and cats. There are three houses with lots of cats, the most are in the house right beside the HFN a Neo Tokyo house. The deer are on thenisland behind the Bliss or Turtle monument. You probably don't have that monument yet and maybe not the island, that's why there are cats. They may need some petting to get them going. My Sims have been farming. The resident at the HFN is indeed a robot. Mim a very advanced Cyborg. She has a Robot dog and cat. Ther is also a living Teddy there. Hope that helps.

I'm sure I used the Globe in the ski lodge. I never bought one. Try it again read the instructions carefully. I don't remember because it's been so long ago.

It's all in the HFN everything you need. That AND my Game Center name to send me a request are in my signature at the bottom of this post. You have to mention the forum or Sims. Often the name is see doesn't match so I only accept if forum or Sims is mentioned. I will be Skyeblu there not Katgames.

I hope that helps. I don't know how else to explain it. There's a house there that has what you need. As for the Globe the one in the ski lodge should work.

I remembered I want to a neighbor and used THEIR globe in the ski center. If I need to place one for neighbors let me I know.

I read the instructions more carefully and I think I was looking for the wrong thing on the globe at a neighbor's ski lodge... I have a sim doing what I think is the correct thing now - will know more in an hour

ETA well for whatever combination of reasons, it seems no neighbor globes have the menu option I require at the moment, so I'm going to have to spend the §§'s on the globe as there's not even a way to LP skip it. A valiant effort!
