Which house lot for a restaurant?

Post by boysnberry11 »

So torn. Was thinking of building a restaurant or even a bed and breakfast, but don't which lot and backdrop makes for good ambience. Was thinking of Neo Tokyo, Beachside Escape, Japanese Retreat or Player Designed House. I'm thinking the Premium Lot would make for a nice outdoor seating area. Decisions. Decisions. Decisions. Ugh!!

Cool idea!

If it was me I'd build a beachside escape on a premium lot. I would love to be able to go to a B&B with a nice private seating area overlooking the beach :)

I have a beach side escape on a premium lot - still in original as built condition, except for the removal of 2 lounges that I moved to Oliver's house if you want to look at it. It's got lots of room, if you pull out the lawn furniture... kitchen area could be the back building, outdoor seating and then indoor dining area in main building. The very front is all bedrooms for 2 adults, 1 pre-teen and a toddler (based on the furniture that came with it). If you do a B&B, make the back building the guest rooms, convert the main house living room to a restaurant area? It's a huge living room and there is already a really big dining room in it.

I haven't done anything with it yet - it was Alicia's temporary quarters until I married her off and moved her and Oliver back to Oliver's house.
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)

Sounds lovely! Thanks :) I'll add you to GC once I get my preteen-teen thing figured out!

I am thinking of converting my beach house to a true community center and adding a second floor to the main house. It's too big for a family of 4 - my sims have been using it as a resort spot and going over there in little groups to hang out. It's on a premium lot in town.

If I put a second story on it, I could have sewing classes, woodworking classes, ballet, karate, a library, a swimming pool, ice skating in winter, maybe put in a bunch of stoves for cooking classes, gardening classes, include some study desks in the library part for kids to do research after school, a day care center... Trouble is the 10 sim max per lot - wish we could raise that to 15 or 20. Get them all in one place so you don't have to wander all over town popping bubbles. If the skate ramp was moveable, I would put that there, too!

Oh I really like that idea too :)
I wish we could have more Sims per lot too, it does get annoying having to go everywhere! lol
