Baby takes the crib with them, it lands in a random space somewhere in the new house where ever there is room for it. Then you can move the baby within the new house wherever you want it to be. Molly landed with the dog sitting next to her crib in the master bedroom :).
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)

I think to be safe, I'd put an empty crib in the new house before the move. I remember reading a thread on here regarding that subject. Maybe you can do a search of the forum. Though I've not ever gotten it to find anything I wanted. I do know you can move the baby from crib to crib in the same house. But I'd be a little leary of having the baby transfer with the family especially if there was no crib awaiting in the new house.

I've only ever had one crib, so I never had a spare to put in the empty house. But I've never had a really glitchy game either (iPad version), so maybe I was just lucky. If you have a spare crib, better safe than sorry, but I didn't have any extra money to buy the extra crib, so I just did "relocate household" and everybody went, dog, cat, humans, crib and all. :) Baby and crib landed with the dog in the master bedroom, mom landed on the sofa in the music room, dad landed in the kitchen and, if I recall, the cat landed on the pre-teen's bed, while the pre-teen ended up out in the yard by the trash can. Cat knows who belongs on the bed, right?

Oh that's good to know, Karen. Thanks.

Thanks for all the advices :).

Yeah, I always make a search before asking something, this is how I found this thread (I didn't start it :P).

I successfully moved the household and didn't need a new crib. The baby landed in the last corner of the small house behind the beach house, I had to click on him on the tracker to see where he was . What I thought I'd lost was the dog, but luckily he was there too :D.

@Karen: you pre-teen really believed in the song "Teenage Dirtbag" right? :P
I'm on Facebook! Just ask ;)
It might take me a while to answer, but I will :)

The baby's toilet need is automatic. They will relieve themselves when they are good and ready. You just need to change their diaper when they do.
