Working Sims (Cloud Save Q)

My game has been crashing a lot today...and I could download my saved data from this morning. But wondered if the sims I sent to work this morning would get paid and/or ex's points for working or would I just miss out on the pay and ex's points because now they woud not be able to be sent to work, since most jobs are time sensitive? Hope this makes sense.

I think if you down load the morning save and it's before they went to work, then it's like they never left the house. Not 100% positive though. I save twice a day, but the only time I had to download it was 10 minutes later to try to fix my sound issues, so I didn't lose any time on it.

Thank you for replying I did send my Sims to work, school, to hobby, and garden. Then I saved to the cloud. When you download the saved data from the cloud you pick up where you left off...but with jobs I was just wondering what would happen since you can't send a scientist or athlete to work in the afternoon or evening. This subject may have been talked about on another forum but I can't find it...and wondered what the answer was. But you may be right, who you sent to work would just stay home not getting any pay or ex's points.

I already tried doing this.

If you send a sim to work prior to cloud save, they would still continue to work at the real time pace.

so if for example your sim is set to work for 5 hours and you saved your game at 7am, had a hiccup and needs to reset and download your game again at around 9am, you will see that your sim who went to work still has 3 out of the 5 hours of work.

the game still continues. but if you saved before sending them to work, well, you will see that they didn't go to work at all

Thank you for replying I sent 3 sims to work, 1 got promoted, not sure about the other 2 since my game keeps closing and I have to download my saved data. But I may have missed the pop up window that saying my sims earned pay and ex's points.
