Re: Haunted house available as in-app purchase
I'm hoping they are going to make the Haunted House available for premium lots.
Re: Haunted house available as in-app purchase
I literally missed it by minutes. It was there, I read the rest of the thread, and *poof* it was gone. Super disappointed.

Yup just read the whole thread and I never had it on iPad - can someone confirm that the daily reward is now capped for new players since 2013? Also can someone confirm that if I delete a house I.e. the teen idol house for 80lp that I will get § in return as I delete the rooms so I can build the neo Tokyo house?

As for deleting rooms, you do get simoleons when you delete them (and store the stuff in inventory) but the amount is not very much. You do not get any simoleons for deleting a whole floor eg. the upper floor of a house. I do not think that the amount of simoleons you get will be enough to build a neo Tokyo house unless you sell the stuff in the rooms as well. Bear in mind you only get 10% of the purchase price so it might still not be enough depending on how much a new neo Tokyo house costs you.Perturbee wrote:The Daily Reward "adjustment" took place in with the release of the "Pool update" on 2013-01-31.
Games started before that date should have TV x 0.005 (is 0.5%).
Games started after that date have a daily reward based on a very tiny part of TV, plus a few § for each time the TV changes, but the exact formula is unknown.
Not updated and Not playing! (please excuse zombies)
Re: Haunted house available as in-app purchase
Finished the haunted house. Remodeled and added a floor immediately as per my usual. Can't enjoy it as much now because the Monkeys jacked people around. Bad monkeys. But am here to report after many a ghost hunting escapade in my old refurbished dark secret morphed into haunted mansion, the ghost hunting in this house is much easier! Surrounded it with conifers first thing and I block the front door with one just while capturing. I can take my leisurely time tapping. Even with hoodoo! Thanks to this forum and all the tips by all the users. I never would have figured this out on my own!

Recently, the Haunted House pack was temporarily made available in the Online Store of The Sims FreePlay. This change was made in error and meant that the pack was available for iOS users only.
The Haunted House pack is not currently offered for purchase, but it will be made available again on the Online Store with the next Sims FreePlay update.
We apologize for the inconvenience of this issue and hope that you will enjoy building it when it is available.

Convenient how an 'error' is something that would cost money. Why can't it be a constant-resource-drop kind of error?

Re: Haunted house available as in-app purchase
Strange - I spent $2.99 on an error? Oh well, I have my HH now - still debating whether to make it two stories and put my inventoried elevator and spooky stairs in there. I can't make a Sim to live there until level 42 (I'm at 36). At level 40, I intend to FINALLY let Oliver have his baby /toddler so Molly will have a friend. Then I'll have 2 teens, 2 toddlers and 2 pre-teens. My next adult, who will live in the HH will be Cuthbert (Bert) Binns, a faded, gray haired, oblivious old man. I can make him a ghost hunter for fun, but he'd rather just live with them, seeing as how, eventually, he's going to end up as one anyway, in some alternate timeline some lady wrote about in a book about some wizard kid
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)

Well, when they do make it available with the next update, it'll still be for sale in the Online Store, so you didn't waste money on something that would be available with LP or something. So you just got an early bird specialHufflepuff Karen wrote:Strange - I spent $2.99 on an error? I'm glad to hear they will add it to the store for everyone soon. I really want to get it. Since I already have the haunted stairs and elevator, I think I'll go ahead and make it a two storey Haunted House (when I get it, build it and renovate it, that is!!) I'm debating on whether I should demolish my old HH or just make an extra one. That way, visitors can use one while my ghost hunting team is using another one. But maybe I'll demolish my current one, consolidate all the haunted objects, and then make a second floor on the new one... Decisions, decisions!!
