Elevators in a 3 storey house

Is it possible to have elevators stacked to cover 3 floors please? Or do I have to offset them, which takes up a lot of space.

I've been messing around with the back central room of the teen mansion in the hope of removing the staircases. I can get one elevator to cover the first two storeys but can't access the third.

At the moment my teen sims are having to hop in the teleporter between 2 and 3. Looks cool and they patently enjoy it but not quite the effect I'm after.

Unfortunately you have to add 2 elevators, and they can't be on top of each other. It is pretty stupid that they can't go 3 storeys!!
