They removed the ability to purchased missed limited time rewards with the Pet Paradise update including the toddler dress up chest and the wedding outfits (even though those were not a limited time reward for some people). The official reason is that FM wanted the limited time items to be special for those who unlocked them.
I feel that they should have at least left the toddler dress up chest and the wedding outfits bundle for those who started playing before quests as the online store was always the only way to get those items.

Right now for Valentine's Day there is a survey of what players would like to see go on sale. The last option is to unlock the Wedding Bundle in the online store! Here is the link to the survey!

Disappointed EA/FM made some of these things limited time. They are only hurting their profits by doing so. Such a shame because I would have bought the Katy Perry pack and haunted house.
An enthusiastic "hellz yeah!!" to the Katy Perry pack. I'd buy that in real dollars. I started playing exactly a year ago and totally missed the opportunity.

Yes!!! A thousand times, yes! Or, if FM wants to keep things limited time they could do a one-time offer in the online store after the event is over. Something like, "You've didn't unlock everything in time but for the next 4 days you can get the pack in the online store...". Although, that might give them more incentive to stack the deck against us even more than they already have.

Probably true. I also suspect that they make more money selling LPs than than they do on individual items. Your suggestion though seems to offer the best of both money-making worlds. *Turns and shouts "Hey FM! Look at this idea!"

I'm extremely annoyed that the living teddy bear and fireworks are so expensive. So I went ahead and spent REAL money on these items and then I have to spend an arm and a leg for them in the game??? Totally wouldn't have purchased if I knew and in the future, I'll try to look out for what a purchased item costs in the game. It should always be free imo if you've spent actual money but I can tolerate paying a SMALL amount.
