Interesting thread. Here are my goals:

1. Get to Level 36 (now on 32) so I can get a new Sim, who will become the girlfriend of Maw Weston. Then I will "Adopt a Teen" which will make them both single mums.
2. Resources, resources, resources (sigh).
3. As there aren't enough Sims to fill all the houses, think of alternative uses for plots/houses, such as nursery school, hotel. I have a community cafe and a community farm/workshop.

I'm going to completely remodel it once I've finished planning how I want it to look. I will need to buy lots of nice new (expensive) furniture, but I'm hesitant to buy anything major yet until I know what's in my mystery box. I also need to furnish my houseboat with more stuff and I want to remodel my "haunted house".

So the real goal is to get 10 keys. Once that's done, everything else should fall into place. This isn't difficult, but is annoyingly out of my control since we get a maximum of one a week.

My short-term goal is to get to level 44, which should happen over the next couple of days or so. Once there, I will delete the teen twins (they have served their function) and get two new adults. Then obviously the goal will be to get to the next level.. and so on.

I've got a (Player Designed) house under construction now, and when that's finished I plan on putting a Medieval House on the Island. I then need to remodel it. I also need to remodel a couple of other plots like my island outdoor funpark.

I also want to upgrade all the monuments to level 25. This is a very long-term goal that will take months.
Can't wait to remodel my teen mansion too. First order of business, bathroom on the first floor lol.

I am staying on top of the keys. Going for 10. I have 5.

I am saving for a Neo Tokyo house

I am working on my sign so I can get the Teen Idol house.

I am going to remodel my recently acquired $2.99 haunted house

I need to add onto a house or move a family or something with the added teens/preteens. I have two preteens sleeping on a houseboat because there's no room in their house! Poor kids!

I want to build a woodworking and fashion sweatshop. I'm tired of going to the community center and houses. Some peeps are about to take up a new hobby!

Lately I've been too busy to deal so they are all hibernating and just taking up space. Tomorrow I'm getting them to work. No more sleeping on the job. This thread has inspired me. Thanks!
You're welcome! It's inspired me too. I wasn't planning on doing the Scandinavian house until further down the line but hey, I might as well try to shoot for it as a goal.

Plus, when I visit neighbors, I always wonder what they're doing when I see they've changed houses or have a second floor that they're waiting to decorate.

hiser1974 wrote:Targets have been leveling up and saving up § and lps, now almost on lvl 46. Its taking more and more time till the next lvl.
So I think that after reaching lvl 46 i will take a break from that and focus on decorating my town.
Now all my houses are pretty much default and my town is pretty boring. So going to do some redecoration.
And I want to build the last businesses and stuff so my town is complete.
And I want to get the Teen Idol Mansion
And I should make a HFN

So my short term list would be:
- reach level 46 so I can add another sim
- redecorate the houseboat I just build
- design, plan, redecorate other houses
- complete all buildings in my town
- get the Sim Town sign to level 3 to unlock the Teen Idol Mansion. Still not decided if I'm going to spend lps on this and how much so not sure if this is a short term goal

Nice to have a thread like this, makes me think about my goals and priorities.
And realize that there is a lot that I want to do. So prioritizing is good before I get lost in ideas.
:)

I have a ton of redecorating to do to. I kept my number of houses very low for the majority of the time I've been playing and then went on a building spree of 8 or so houses lol. So they're just sitting in their original state and I definitely need to change them up.

Seems like we all want to save up those 10 keys ;)

You're moving fast for 6 weeks playing! I haven't been playing that long either, I think since some time in September. I did the same thing as you. My sims were living in little boxes without beds drinking espresso

Saving up keys, like everyone else.

I might go around and update the pool interiors/decking...

I'm also in the process of turning a houseboat into a floating restaurant.
I have an empty second story on my haunted house too after I got the spooky elevator. I need to decorate it but can't ever seem to find the time.

Oh that's cool. I didn't realize you could adopt a teen to make a single parent.

Saving up my keys - I spent the first one, until I realized that I needed to save up 10 to get the big box. I sure as heck hope it's worth it - it better be full of Magma Embers!

Struggling to get to Level 40, so I can let Oliver & Alicia finally have their baby. I skipped over them to adopt my two teens - and they are struggling to get the sign built, even though they both got their Em-TV awards already. I keep giving them a break to send them to school - Dora is already Valedictorian and Cedric is almost there.

I haven't spent my app card yet, because I'm torn between getting LP or Simoleons. If I get LP, I know I'm going to lose patience with this stupid Sign thing and blow 70 of them on that so I can get my mansion. And what's the point of a free mansion if you have to spend LP to finish the quest to get it? Gonna keep them grinding through the music grid another week and see where I stand over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend when I have time to play. If it's down to 30 LP or so to finish, I just might do it, so my house can be built over the long weekend and I might have time to play with it a little bit. I still don't know which lot to put it on - I have that really good lot on the island, over to the right side of the volcano (the house on the left side is currently occupied by Teen Idol Dora, her dad the mayor and her mom a real estate broker).

I would like to have one of every house eventually, but it's a lot of simoleons for some of them (I currently have $2,000,000 stashed, but if I do second story on my HH or one of the other houses, that'll go away fast). Wish I had more time to play with graph paper and re-design some of the existing houses - they've just sort of been remodeled on the fly to make them fit the families that live in them. No rhyme nor reason. Just stick on another room and add a door! Which can be annoying when the only way to get from the kitchen to the living room is through the bathroom!
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)
