-10 keys for the big box
Stuck on this one for a while though, my next quest is to add another sim. I'm currently maxed out and can't add another until I hit level 32 (halfway through level 30). I'd be better off deleting a sim or skipping the quest, but I'm far too stubborn to do that xD
-Build all buildings and houses on the mainland before I start branching out to the island.
Missing the Nightclub and Real Estate Agency for the buildings, and 9 houses. Need more sims to keep going though.
-Unlock the volcano
Slow but steady. I check the different idols daily to see how my rare items are going. I'm making myself only spend LP to advance to the next level if it requires 10 or less. Any more and I refrain from spending... othewise I'd be always broke
-Teen Mansion
Need to make my other teen start helping the first one get items faster, one teen is going far too slow. To be honest I just need more young sims in general.
-Specialize houses
Into things like water park, movie theater, HFN, etc. I have one house that is almost how I want it to be (they want a third child but I don't want to spend $5 getting them one, so the boy's room is empty except for a cradle and a lamp). Guess you could call this the "haunted house" of the town, but I designed it for the two adult sims that share it. All my sims are characters from a story I wrote years ago and those two are more dark than everyone else. Not evil, just dark.

Trying to figure out which house to build next, it will be an lp property.
Still trying to finish Town Sign so I can get the teen mansion, debating on whether I should start spending lp on it or just keep grinding away.
Also saving up for the mystery box worth 10 keys.
I am pretty much at your level too, with similar goals, but I have 2 toddlers and 1 baby, as well as 1 preteen and 2 Teens, so I am well set up for tasks requiring their participation! ;)

Remodel my Teen Idol Mansions. I finally earned the first one and completed building, bought another with LPs that's going to be my prepper compound on the island, and buying another as soon as that ones done that will be a move up for my family of 10 that represents my family when the kids were young. Might do some more, after those. Just by demolishing the pool I earned 4 million Simoleons ! So it's a huge money maker. I can rebuild a pool suited for the homes I'm doing and still have lots of decorating money. I earned a boat load of LPs while trying to get the resources for the teen mansion, so can build plenty.

Get all 10 keys for the big box.

Buy the Scandinavian home, mostly just because it's a big goal to work towards.

Make a " home" for each of my adult kids that fits them at this point in their lives. About half way through.

Get up to the last level so I can buy lots of planters for my prepper compound, and complete my little sim universe with the last 5 people. Still deciding exactly who they 'll be

(All town buildings completed; working on Sign and Monuments; now have a Designer House and a Houseboat; everyone else still living in little boxes waiting for me to start DIY ... I have my sledge hammer and cement mixer at the ready; trying to earn money, but it's hard with no decent town bonuses; looking forward to Teen Idol House, but it's still a long way away).

Current 2 missions: Hibernate, and Double-pulled Pork  Honestly! It takes away my will to live.
Hang in there. Everyone starts and it is tough. Lotta plantin' beans and grinding for LP. Key is patience. This is a game designed to make you impatient so you spend money. Take your time. Sounds like your doing amazing for 6 weeks! All buildings are complete. That's quite the accomplishment. I've been playing since last Spring and a lotta my folks are still livin' in little boxes. They seem to be doin' fine. But I did feel your pain with hibernating and double pulled pork! *s*

Saving up keys, like everyone else.

I might go around and update the pool interiors/decking...

I'm also in the process of turning a houseboat into a floating restaurant.
I'm going to do that too. I saw one and loved the idea. Let me know when you get yours done. I'll check it out.

Hufflepuff Karen wrote:Saving up my keys - I spent the first one, until I realized that I needed to save up 10 to get the big box. I sure as heck hope it's worth it - it better be full of Magma Embers!

Struggling to get to Level 40, so I can let Oliver & Alicia finally have their baby. I skipped over them to adopt my two teens - and they are struggling to get the sign built, even though they both got their Em-TV awards already. I keep giving them a break to send them to school - Dora is already Valedictorian and Cedric is almost there.

I haven't spent my app card yet, because I'm torn between getting LP or Simoleons. If I get LP, I know I'm going to lose patience with this stupid Sign thing and blow 70 of them on that so I can get my mansion. And what's the point of a free mansion if you have to spend LP to finish the quest to get it? Gonna keep them grinding through the music grid another week and see where I stand over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend when I have time to play. If it's down to 30 LP or so to finish, I just might do it, so my house can be built over the long weekend and I might have time to play with it a little bit. I still don't know which lot to put it on - I have that really good lot on the island, over to the right side of the volcano (the house on the left side is currently occupied by Teen Idol Dora, her dad the mayor and her mom a real estate broker).

I would like to have one of every house eventually, but it's a lot of simoleons for some of them (I currently have $2,000,000 stashed, but if I do second story on my HH or one of the other houses, that'll go away fast). Wish I had more time to play with graph paper and re-design some of the existing houses - they've just sort of been remodeled on the fly to make them fit the families that live in them. No rhyme nor reason. Just stick on another room and add a door! Which can be annoying when the only way to get from the kitchen to the living room is through the bathroom!
I've had that issue with my houses too, especially since half of mine started as unfurnished studios. I got so frustrated with how poorly one was designed that I took the whole thing to the ground. I also have a restaurant which is gorgeous. I had a layout and everything and then I finished and realized I didn't have access to the bathrooms! It's an easy switch, I just have to take the time to switch 2 rooms. I guess I'll get around to it one day lol.

That's a good way to pace yourself on spending LPs on the resources. Maybe I'll try that too. Otherwise, it'll be a year before I complete them, if that lol.

Tell me more about this pool demolishing :) . So when you demolish the teen mansion pool it's worth 4 million? Does it affect TV?

It isn't easy xD Knowing you only need one more resource to hit the 10 LP mark and spend days not finding it... wondering if you will miss the extra LP if you just went ahead and spent them. Thankfully I found a magma rock this morning.
