Winter Update is Here

I saw an ad for the Dove products in my iOS and android games this morning saying they would be coming soon. So glad to hear that some players have them already! Hopefully iOS and Android players get the update before Thanksgiving.

My Kindle is updating. The icon has changed to snowy weather. Is this it?

Yes! It has arrived. I have Thanksgiving goals. We are getting ready for the meal. We have to get three Sims in a house. Be nice to a Sim, and bake a pumpkin pie. This is the first of the goals.

Look like the Progressive TV is gone. There are new Dove bathroom furnishings.

Next goal after bake a pumpkin pie is have 3 Sims watch the Thanksgiving day parade on TV. Takes 4 minutes, but completes once the 3 Sims begin watching. That completes the goals and you've unlocked the hats. Next set of goals is to unlock a free Thanksgiving table, which looks to be the same as the one available for 3000.

Hamburger plants now take 18 hrs instead of 12 .

Well darn! I just planted my first batch of hamburgers last night and they were finished in time for me to harvest them before I went to work and sent everybody off to their jobs.

12 hours was perfect if I wanted to go to bed early - I could keep them busy from 7 to 7. RATS!

Oh, good if we can add a Sim with every level that would make me happy! And adopting toddlers! Maybe I won't have to wait until Level 40 to get Alicia's & Oliver's baby.

Kindle users that got the update - can you check to see if it messed up whether or not your teens (if you have more than one) are still all teen idols? If we can get more Sims, I would like to add a couple more teens to have a band, if that neighbor glitch will still work! If they took it away, I wonder if I should adopt 2 more teens right now, send them to the neighbor long enough to do keyboard and then bring them back....

Pre-update I had 4 teen idols and they are all still teen idols after the update. I just had them all begin to play an instrument to make sure they could still play simultaneously and they can! I don't have any other teens to test whether or not the glitch to begin them as teen idols will still work, so not sure about that. May not be a bad idea to get the new teens now and start them as idols, just incase.

After you complete the first set of goals to unlock the pilgrim hats you begin the goals to unlock the free Thanksgiving table, which is the same as the one that costs 3000. There are only 2 goals...
1. Be funny to a Sim
2. Bake a Turkey...4 hrs

Then you begin the goals to unlock the Turkey beanbag chair and Turkey hat, again there are only 2...
1. Have 3 Sims eat Thanksgiving meal. (At the thanksgiving table)...7 min
2. Have 3 Sims listen to a stereo

This concludes the Thanksgiving quest.
