Cost of Simoleon houses reduced

Apart from the lowered cost of the Scandinavian house, the good news is that the Simoleon houses have reduced in price as well. I currently have 17 houses and the two storey mansion is now reduced to 1.870 million (from 6.5 million IIANM). The Teen Idol house can now be bought for 2.24 million. The other house prices have also dropped. The LP houses are unchanged in price.

That's very good news. I was afraid that the houses would be forever out of my Sims budgets.

Oh no. The two story Manson is oké, but the teen idol house is too much money. It takes me months to save more than 2 million. I can quicker save lp as money, so it is not oké for me

Wait, so if I just finished building my first teen idol mansion, and haven't got to build my second for 80LP, it's too late? That's terrible!

ETA: Just downloaded the update on one device, but not the other. After the update my teen mansion costs me 5.2M! So, I decided to buy the 2nd mansion on my non-updated device for only 80LP. Not ideal, but hoping it's worth it.

Bummer, I had plans with multiple teen mansion but haven't unlocked it yet.
First will take 3 days to build so that means no more teen idol mansions for me then without saving heaps of simoleons
Well, it was too good to be true, only 80lp for a 3-story house with a large pool.

Edit: just unlocked the teen mansion, it only takes a day to build. So will hold off the update till tomorrow. With a bit of luck I can build a second mansion for lp.

Just compared the Simoleon house prices before and after the update. The prices for the premade houses have gone down but for the empty lots the price has gone up.
