24hrs for you to complete them starting from 12am your timezone, thus the goals are designed to be complete within 24hrs...

Day 8 is by far having the longest time, around 13 hrs...
Thank you for the clarification

I only did this to check how long the task would take. So later, with the correct sim I tapped again and now the 'Watch closely' takes 8 hrs and 30min! So that means I won't be able to finish todays quests today
I just noticed that as well :(

Omg, that is clearly a bug which it would be too late if FM wants to fix.

I suggest you to use LP to complete it, earn it back through hobbying... :(

Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one with this, too bad other people are also having this.
I started the task and will have to use LP to finish it faster. Then my sim can fly to Egypt on the original schedule I had for today.

It happened to me, too. I used LPs as well.
It was really weird because when I started the task it showed 4 h 12 min. When I came back 3 hours later the task time increased and I had to go another 5 hours. I hope this is the only bug today...

There is another 3.5hr goal for ask thinking man about elves... So total time is around 17hrs or 21hrs for those having the 8hrs watch nutcracker goals :?

Then party boat gave me back 2lp
Well I was pretty sleepy when I did the goals but did not recall seeing the watch soldier closely goal. Very strange!
You had to be sleepy, 'cos there's no time to sleep and get Day 8 completed on time! :D

I'm in Egypt now, hoping I'll be able to start the next task as soon as it finishes. Sometimes, I have to do something else besides play! Sometimes.

Just to clarify. If you finish your Santa goals after midnight, the next day goals will just start directly after. So don't worry about missing out. You will still get that days present even if you finish day 8 on day 9 (or day 9 on day 10 which will probably be the case for most as the goals take about a total of 20 hours  ). So no need to use LP's just wait it out. :)

Thank you so much for clarifying this!

I was just searching to see if this question had come up, 'cos I'm sure I'll be a little behind. I love the Christmas stuff & don't want to miss out. I'm blowing through LP's like crazy buying decorations!

Do you still get the Sanata's Chair if you don't finish within 24 hours though??
