Alien?
Hi! My daughter and I both play and we each have our own town. We updated this morning and now I have 5 days to finish this quest. She has no park and has an alien in her house. How do I get the alien in my house without building the park or how do I quickly earn 100k to build the park. FYI, no one on my game can go to work... I hope this makes sense, LOL.

Re: Alien?
What level are you both at? The alien's name is Osiris, if he's a little green guy wearing a space suit. He has tasks for you to do to complete a quest, depending on what level you are at. I had him for the getting a Teenage thing, other people had him for that and for something else last year that I missed. You need to have a park to complete the quests because if it's for the Teenage thing, you have to speak on a soapbox, hang out and do some other things in the park.
The fastest way I found to earn Simoleons is to have all of your Sims gardening all the time. If you have beans available, they make the most in 9 hours. If you have time to babysit your Sims, keep after them to plant watermelons and potatoes every hour or two. Collect your taxes from the bubbles on the town map. Collect your mailbox reward every day. Depending on how many Sims you have, you can earn $100,000 pretty quickly. You can earn money from the hobbies, too, but if you're just starting out it's a lot of babysitting. Gardening is easier if you can't sit there all day tapping your screen every 4 minutes
Others will chime in - if Osiris gave your daughter any tasks, list what they are and they'll help you figure out which quest he's there for. Post your levels, too - that helps everybody know what crops and things are available to you.

I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)

Re: Alien?
Thanks. What is weird is that she hasn't built the park and she is working on the teen stuff at the same time...

Re: Alien?
I think the other Alien Quest pops after level 18, if you started late. I don't remember what it was, because I never got it. If you search the forum for "Osiris" it should find the threads with the quests that involved him - that might give you some good hints. If the goals are skippable (you can pay 5 LP to skip a goal you don't want to do and it will still give you credit), you can try that, but sometimes they are not skippable. I had to build the car lot before I could continue an earlier goal to have Sims drive around. Eventually, you end up building everything just because you might need it, but the price goes up the more the value of your town goes up, so $100,000 is still pretty cheapAMyers3 wrote:Oh. Re: Alien?
I just discovered something. While visiting a neighboring town, the option to "search for UFO's" is there. Do you know if I can use that for my quest? Also, it appears that I can only use 1sim at a time to visit. Am I correct?

Yes, only 1 Sim can be out of your town at a time. I don't know what the "search for UFO's" quest is - I think that's the previous quest with Osiris that some of the older players had, but that seems to be popping up for certain newer players, too. It's the quest before he got involved in helping Sim Town get teenagers. Hope somebody that got to do that one will chime in!AMyers3 wrote:I just discovered something.
