We've been playing SFP for several weeks on two iOS devices (iPad and iPod touch) using the same gamecenter ID (no Facebook). This allows my son to have his own game. This has all gone smoothly until the morning my husband logged onto his gamecenter account on the iPad to play. I uploaded my iPad game to the cloud before he logged in. That night when I logged back in and went to download the morning's save game it says the most recent save is from my son's iPod touch? My son did play the Sims from his iPod Touch that afternoon.
Have I lost my iPad game because we share an ID, even though we never explicitly saved the iPod Touch game to the cloud?
I submitted a ticket at that time (almost a week ago) but have heard nothing. This site has been really helpful for me in playing SFP so I thought I'd ask here. I'm losing hope that I will get a response before the cloud save of my game expires (7 days?) can anyone give me good news?
Thx!

Different games/towns require different accounts to have a reliable cloud save for each (they're tied in with each account, not each device). Note, the game does NOT use iCloud, but FM/EA's cloud server!Sleepeople wrote:We've been playing SFP for several weeks on two iOS devices (iPad and iPod touch) using the same gamecenter ID (no Facebook). If both devices still have their own game, sign up for another apple ID to use with Game Center on one of the devices and save it. If your game has been downloaded and no longer on any device, you've likely lost it completely.
Cloud saves are now kept up to 6 months, contrary to the message in the game. See also: https://firemonkeys.zendesk.com/entries ... I-lose-it-

Thank you for your reply! It does sound like I'm out of luck. Ugh! So much for my 2.5mil town.Perturbee wrote:Different games/towns require different accounts to have a reliable cloud save for each (they're tied in with each account, not each device).
