None whatsoever, except they look great in a themed room. :)
You can feed them and be hypnotised by them, like with the small tank.

You can also use them as barriers to make an indoor maze. ;)

Room dividers, feng shui, cat toys....I love to tuck them in everywhere. They really liven up a room.

Yeah. It's adorable the way the cats bat at the glass. But they're mostly aesthetic.

i havent had the designer's cat go at ANY of the fish tanks (maybe because they arent salmon?). the cat mostly stares at wall (and jumpped through a few times - phasing cat ?) , goes for lps & §s but nothing more. maybe a water resource might pop up if you use fish enough ?

It's fun to catch a kitty pawing and jumping at them and they are pretty.

I tried it for a while without success. There aren't many short activities like this that you can do repeatedly. This and shake hands, high five, bro hug, slap. Some will give bonuses or nothing. None if them have given me resources.

Yes, I've gotten several. The most frequent fishing drop for me has been bamboo.
