Last Cloud Save Problem?

I am new to downloading my saved data from the cloud and I'm not sure if this is a glitch with the lastest update or if I am doing something wrong. I downloaded the Winter Update, did the Thanksgiving goals, and since the sim limit was raised I added some more sims to my town. I saved to the cloud before starting this. Then after adding two more sims I saved to the cloud. I added two more sims (4 total new sims) and tried to save to the cloud and my game crashed. I didn't have time right then to download my saved data so when I had time later in the day I downloaded my saved data and it was the saved data from before I started adding sims. Knowing that the Zendesk over at FM is so backed up I just readded the sims to my town. This morning the same thing happed after I redid some of my houses I saved to the cloud a few times during the process of changing things around. Then my game crashed and the saved data was before I redid the houses. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or am I missing a step in this process? I should add I am talking about my game on my android device.

Have you checked to see if you are logged in? I think the saves are somehow linked to the log in account and it you are not logged in it might not remember your last save? It's remembering the save you had before the update. A lot of people are reporting that this update keeps causing them to log out and crash.

Thank you for replying I was getting the pop up screen asking if I was sure I wanted to save the game to the cloud and after saving the game that I was sucessful in saving to the cloud. Guess I wanted to make sure I was downloading the saved data the right way.

are you logged on both Facebook and Game Center? if so, you need to cloud save separately...

Thank you for replying The game is on my android device. I think the problem was a FB login issue.
