with the new update, pre-built houses are really cheap, so:

First, sell all houses but three. Now, it will only take 2 hours to build a house - which you can hurry along by spending one LP.

I do not know what kind of profit you would get by using e.g. the two story mansion, but if you have the teen idol mansion, it will cost you 1 million and you get over 4 million by selling the pool alone. So, build mansion (cost 1 mil), hurry construction (cost 1 LP), sell pool (revenue >4 mil). remove mansion - and repeat.

You will loose some LP, but you will also gain a lot of LP by increasing TW and your level (if you buy stuff, which you might want to do since you cant have more than 100 mil $).

I had:
1 mil $, 100 LP, 10 mil TW and lvl 32.
after a few hours I had:
100 mil $, 60 Lp, 50 mil TW and lvl 38.

However, it feels like i ruined a big part of the game - so if you can resist, I would advice that you do exactly that.

Thanks to you, Nemi, I was finally able to afford a firepole! I just sold the Teen Idol pool in the vacant extra mansion. I hated having to remember to send someone over to clean it every other day anyway!

The teen idol pool is created from lots of smaller pools - so maybe 300k is the cost of selling just one part?

The teen idol mansion pool is made up of 8 pools.
They are worth, s840K, s585K, s375K, s375K, s315K, s315K, s300K, and s300K.
Added together that comes to s3,405,000.
Although it isn't quite 4M, it is still a large and worthwhile sum to consider if you plan to make Simoleons in the game by flipping houses.
Now, this isn't profitable at all if you have more than 20 houses. The fewer houses you have, the more profit you'll make. I'm too attached to most of mine, but it is tempting, nonetheless.

Tq guys. I'm now collecting millions of simoleons by selling idol teen mansions. But i had to send some of my sims away because they could not fit in 3 houses. But now at least they can have their rest doing non productive activities while i'm busy building & selling houses.

Oh! It hadn't occurred to me that the paving was overlapping. Awesome! Maybe someone can post a corrected price per pool as one sells. I would love to see that.
