Do you mean to get them married or engaged? Or partners living together?

You just have to to use the romance actions between 2 sims (dance, be romantic instead of be nice, the romantic actions have the pink bubble and the friend actions have the green bubble).

Once they are friendly or romantic enough, you'll see other options pop up when you click on one of the Sims in that couple. It's easier if they are visiting each other and nobody else is around, that way you don't accidentally get romantic with the wrong Sim or ask the wrong one to move in (did that once and it took me a long time to fix it).
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)

I am sorry, I meant how to get two sims into one house. I am at the beginning and have to make one of them "be funny" to the other.

Oh, that's easy - enter the house where 1 Sim lives. Then open your Sim Tracker on the left side. You should see each Sim and if they are not busy doing a task, there should be a whistle under them. Tap the whistle of the sim you choose to visit the house you are in. Once he / she pops in by the mailbox, if the green diamond is over their head, look for the Sim that lives in the house, tap on him / her and there should be interactions that pop up like be nice, be romantic, be funny. Click be funny and the 2 sims will interact and laugh for a few seconds. To send the visiting sim back home, click on the sim tracker and instead of a whistle there will be be a little house with an arrow for the visitor - click that and send them home. Or they can keep visiting and do stuff together. If you click on the TV, one will start watching and if you click the TV again, the other sim can "join in."

You're not silly! We were all newbies once and were full of questions, too! ;) The one that drove me crazy was have your sim do tai chi in the park. There is a whole thread on this forum because so many of us couldn't figure out how to do it! Hope your Sims' whistles are working and that they are enjoying spending time together - the first time you have them interact with each other, it's funny, often surprising what they do. And if you go fishing in the park, don't panic like I did when the giant fish jumps out to eat your Sim - he'll spit him out again - I totally freaked out the first time that happened!

When your have time, read through some of the other threads on this forum - lots of hints and tips and good info to help!
