HELP!! I saw a message saying the Christmas gift was here and when I went to retrieve it, it wasn't there. What do I do? Help!!!!!!!!

This happened to me too, so I just went searching my different houses and eventually found it. Can't wait for the quest on the 13th!

The gift should be in the yard by the mailbox of the first house you visited when you opened the game. In my case when I open the game each morning, it tells me so and so has returned from work, do you want to visit this Sim now? I say yes and go to their house - I have 6 Sims who work nights. The first 2 times Charlie had the gift, because the game sent me to him first. But this morning, it had me visit Rosmerta first, so the gift was at her house. Check all of your occupied houses, then check the empty ones just in case!
