Influence Island Season 2 begins 16. October

3 challenges/attempts per day are free. You get one every 8 hours, but they will not add up over 3 if you don’t play. Additional attempts will cost 15 SP/each.
This table with the cost of chocolate, bribe and progress during the event is intended to help with decision and then to keep the amount as low as possible.

So basically, these are games of Blackjack! Quite fun if you like Blackjack. And if you aren't too concerned about the prizes, which I'm not.

this is indeed blackjack but the 'cards' vary wildly as does the opponen's influence level, like ... i'd need 2 chocolate bars per round to avoid spending SPs when things go wrong :/ also i hate the 1 chance per 8 hours. what is this??? if this is blackjack, i should be allowed to play as many rounds as i want, it's my problem if i gamble away the house and my future children's inheritance in the process, just let me play!!

Luckily the prizes are pretty sad for this round so since I'm not a completist, I'm fine with winning or losing and then moving on. I do tend to forget to come back when my "influencer" is refreshed, though.

So far I've only managed to get to Friend for one NPC and I've won some sort of countertop, I think...

It seems harder this time at the top level—like impossible without spending SP to win. It’s not worth $10 for the bribes since the prizes aren’t that great. I usually finish things but probably not this time

I am sitting this out. It just isn't fun for me. But I have never been a good card player either, so that might explain it.

The kitchen counters/benches with cabinets over are the kind you can put things on. A plus for me. I wish they'd retroactively change all cabinets to have this feature.

It's pretty much gambling! Seems to be no rhyme or reason. Still trying to find some sort of pattern though. Not a big fan of the prices except the furnace. I really like that furnace. The beds look like 90s motel beds though! All in all, probably not worth it to try to finish. I will just do what I can.

There is no pattern. And it is definitely gambling. Just remember, like all gambling, the percentages for winning all favor the "house" to win more than the players. A few players may have an occasional good run, but over all, everyone loses except EA/FireMonkeys.

The more elements of chance they add to SFP, the more I fall out of love with it.
